Listen to and understand that thought, and at the same time improve the quality of services for students according to international standards and create a comfortable and friendly learning environment to help you develop comprehensively in both knowledge and skills such as well-being, the International School's Student Affairs Department has implemented Counseling Service. We are proud to be the pioneer in Vietnam National University, Hanoi and universities in Vietnam to deploy this service model for students.

1. So what is the purpose of the Counselling Services?

Based on the application of the Stepped Care Model For Mental Health - The Stepped Care Model for Mental Health, the Counselling Service for International Schools aims to:

  • Assess the current status of counselling needs, mental health problems, psychological issues such as depression, anxiety, stress, obsession, crisis, school violence.
  • Improve students' awareness, skills and initiative in preventing and solving psychological and spiritual problems.
  • Support students to learn in their studies, reduce study pressure, difficulty concentrating and develop effective study skills
  • Improve self-awareness, career orientation for students.
  • Counseling students on problems in life, study and career; Advice on love, friendship, sex…
  • Promote a holistic approach to coordinate between units inside and outside the International School to optimize resources for effective implementation of Counselling Services.
